Heartland Robotics (covered before) is a company that promises to bring the robotics industry to North America by creating a low-cost robotic manipulator that will make complex-robotics available to everyone. But... you probably knew all that already. What is new and exiting is that they finally announced a release date:  next January 21-24, 2013 at the Automate 2013 show in Chicago.

Bringing low-cost capable robots to the market is that can work along humans is definitely a milestone in service robotics. We are eager to see the day where the gap between industrial and domestic robots is bridges by the next generation of personal robots. Are you as exited as us about this news as we are? Let us know in the comments. Via The Robot Report.
