Free Dash and Dot for Learn Coding Contest During EU CodeWeek

We live in a world where technology is moving fast. In order to manage these rapid changes and to stay up to date with the world around us, we need to develop our understanding of how technology works and develop skills and capabilities, that will help us adapt to the evolution of technology. Learning to code can help in learning how things work and helps in becoming creators and not just consumers of technology. Europe Code Week is coming soon and aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way. Code week will take place 10-18 October 2015 and Wonder Workshop and RobotShop come together with a contest aimed at promoting children in learning code. Wonder Workshop's core mission is to teach kids coding, programming with key STEM learning skills and RobotShop is always working at promoting and advocating the interest of robotics use to towards positive ends.

This is why, during Code Week, we will be running a contest for consumers in the European Union in order to win a Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot Robot Pack.
To enter this contest send us your story or your child's story of when you or they touched technology or a robot for the first time. Explain the robot or technology as well as how it felt, your questions at the time etc. We will select a winner from all the texts and the winner will receive the free Dash and Dot robots. Upon your agreement, we will also share your story with other consumers.
The Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot are capable robots that can sense their environment and can be programmed wirelessly using a touch device. The combination of sensors on these robots, the child friendly programming tools on touch devices, and the design of the robots makes it fun and easy for kids (and grown ups) to do several activities with robots that would have seemed impossible until now.
