Wha? (No useful information here, move along)

It’s gonna kick ■■■■.

:open_mouth:, i wanna see it do a hand stand :open_mouth:

Oh my god., That would be awesome.

And 100% impossible unfortunately, with the extra batteries and pico-itx + the weight of the new arms and upgraded servos, my J5 is pushing 10-11lbs

LOL.

this topic is totaly… useless

But at least we got the whole family cleared up in our heads, thanks Jim!

You have 6x5990’s? :open_mouth: What you were planning on making him doing push-ups with his tracks in the air?

But the added lenght to the arms makes him really cool! Nice job!

10 lbs… big robot :arrow_right:

Naw, the 5990TGs (and the extra DOF/elbow servo) were to make his arms functional instead of aesthetic. Need that much torque to be able to manipulate heavier objects (read: Beer)

I think it should wrestle other robots  thatd be awesome

put it into a Biped fighitng competition :open_mouth:…thatd be kick ass

It isnt a biped though…

Somehow I dont think robot wrestling is ever going to be a reality, and Im somewhat happy about that ;p

I know its not a biped, but thats why it would kick ass

I could one shot the Robo-One competitions I guess?

Yep, it would kick ass. But, in robo-one comps there are some wresling (if you can call it like that :unamused: ). The robots just try to fall on there oponent to make them fall over

Wouldn’t that just contridict what you just said? lmao

Whoa nelly, hold up, wait a sec…

Biker chick? 8)

It’s really quite simple - this is the most complex complete, grammatically correct sentence in the English language consisting entirely of only one word.

Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.

Buffalo can have three meanings: a) a city in New York, b) an animal that is fluffy and fun, and c) bully or intimidate.

So, if we substitute comparable words for all of the buffaloes in the sentence, we get this:

Chicago bison Chicago bison bully bully Chicago bison.

Now, that’s an extremely streamlined sentence, so to make it a bit more understandable, let’s add in some extra words:

Chicago bison that Chicago bison bully also bully Chicago bison.

So basically, buffaloes are ridiculously mean in Buffalo, NY.

(That was probably more explanation than anyone probably bothered to read. Sorry - but I find this sort of thing interesting!)

It may be possible that Jim is working you a bit too hard… devotion to ones job is cool and all but once sleep deprevation starts to kick in…

Ok…I didn’t expect this to be three pages long, Obviously something is wrong here.

Ahahaha. Sleep? Who needs it?! :open_mouth:

I’d much rather think about confusing sentences about buffaloes than tracking down an errant 18-cents to balance the books.

That’s a bold statement… there are lots of words with multiple meanings and many rules for grammatical construction. I doubt that you’ve considered every possibility! :open_mouth:

This is a cookie thread. That’s why I added the “(No useful information here, move along)” to the topic.
