Two Servo and Drawer Slide Pen Plotter

Built this primitive 2d pen plotter using two standard servos (plus one micro servo for pen) and 3 drawer slides. Software is DrawingBotV3 to create gcode which is sent to Arduino Uno via Python script. Simple and draws crude prints but perfect for artwork. Uses polynomial functions for x and y to translate servo angles into linear positions. Simple but beautiful.

I was scrolling down the post and thinking "these could be some really unique designs if they’re in color… and you’d done it already! Maybe some really cool “paint by number” canvases.

Haha. Yeah, unfortunately, my plotter doesn’t have the resolution to print those little numbers.

Cool :smiley: I like that it makes mistakes and it gives a certain artistic touch to these drawings.
