these are now the only servos connected.
got no reading in terminal.
Looks right.
But, can you go into a little more detail as to what you are seeing in the terminal? No reading is different than the values are not changing… If there is nothing there at all then maybe the code isn’t getting there. Can you put in a sound command to make sure it’s getting to that part of the program?
terminal window is clear.
even with sound code added i get nothing

sorry for these problems jim. you must be busy with other things?
Run outa time. I will try to help tomorrow if you haven’t solved it by then.
ok jim, thanks again for your time on this.
[size=150]BINGO[/size]! you were correct in that it wasnt getting to that part of the code. so i removed the (IF buttona =1 then start) command and replaced it with (gosub Start).
works a charm. simple…
it IS often simple enough when you find it, it is the finding that is not simple
Hi,can you provide me the circuit diagram?
Thanks.
Although i wonder if its the pin assignment you are looking for?
the following pictures show how to connect it up and also how to mod the servo.
pin connections:
the servo on the left is the modified servo and the servo on the right is the normal, slave servo.
soldered the two motor leads together and soldered the servo wire to the pot. Servo to Pot, yellow to yellow, red to red, and black to green. When you plug this into an analog input it gives you a nice 0 to 5vdc to the input when you move the servos output shaft. solder the motor leads together to provides friction and holding power to the servo.
Hi guys, currently I’m doing proposal about this smooth robotic arm project.
I totally have no idea how to write “Project Summary” and “Literature Review”.Could you guys lend me a hand or some tips?
Thanks you.
What class is this for?
Alan KM6VV
Final year project.
You don’t say what class. You should ask your instructor.

Hi Alan KM6VV, I dont get what you mean.
Did you mean that what subject i m taking?
this link might give you a good idea of structure etc. after reading this and seeing how you might wish to write your review, then you might find the appropriate questions to ask:
The Literature Review: A Few Tips On Conducting It

What he’s saying is, we’re not going to be able to help you with the written components of your project. You must ask your professor if you have any questions. This is a technical help forum, not a homework help forum.
Also, quotes do not work if you have BBCode turned off. The more you know…
Hi thread starter, how did you control your robotic arm?
Are you using a motor or something else?
PS:I’m not an engineering student but I’m interested in this field.
All of that information is in the thread. Just read it and post if you have any questions about it.
Hello, where did the joystick and robot arm’s wiring connect to?
