hello, i was just wondering: which is the best way to attach a servo to a chassis so that it can move an attached camera up and down (no left-right) ?

CD Player motor There is a geared motor that moves the lense back and forth on a CD Player. You could use that with a motor driver to make it go up/down (but you’d need some sort of sensor to tell you when you’re at the end. the CD player should have that, too)

well… i would stick with a servo
I would probably just glue the servo sideways to the top of the bot and glue the camera to the horn. But then the code would have to be jitter-free and pretty slow if you want a clear picture.
