Hello. I have 4 dc brushed motors 24V 500w each. And i want to controll it by radio control. Im using two car batteries 70Ah each and now im wondering if it’s sabertooth 2x60 enough?

Hi @Ales and welcome to our forum!

If we use P=I*U formula to calculate nominal current of one motor, we get I= 20.83A as a result. Since you plan to connect 2 motors per channel, current is then I=41.67A so yes, Sabretooth 2x60 should be enough in this case. It can withstand 60A continuous and 120A peak per channel.

That is a heavy duty robot! I’d recommend some forced air cooling of the 2X60 module too!
Is this a battlebot?
