Oh never mind I made a mistake.
Dear: LMR
Sorry I made a mistake. In that document it said that a kinect needs 4gb of ram in which I miss read in the other document that the compute module had 4gb ram turns out it didn’t. Sorry!!!

That is to run the Kinect on
That is to run the Kinect on Windows. The requirements will be completely different to run a Kinect on Linux with ROS.
The RP Compute Module would
The RP Compute Module would require its own circuit board to use. It’s designed more for companies to use to put the RasPi into products. Not saying it can’t be used, but it’s more trouble than just a RasPi.
The RasPi 2 has 2GB, but the necessity of 4 GB is under Windiws. You can almost always add swap to a RasPi for more memory.
The RasPi 2 May not be ideal for running the Kinect, but people have done it.
I have a friend who has
I have a friend who has built a Robbie the Robot to exacting standards. His major complaint is that there really isn’t much room under the shell of the robot. He even made a capacitor ladder in order to create “lightning” from the hands.
Just remember: you aren’t doing mad science unless you are dealing with forces that can kill somebody.
Well thank you. Which Robbie are you referring to.
Dear: DT
Oh hello DT that is very cool. Are you talking about lost in space Robbie the robot or Peter’s robbie the robot. The reason I am asking is because I have seen that movie too many times and am just curious. Thank you.
