I have a Roomba 561 which sat in its original packaging never opened for 10 years or so. I finally opened it and pull the yellow tab for the batteries and it charged and set the clock on it and ran for the first time like 4 days ago and ran for over a hour and returned to base no issues then the orange light was blinking when on the base when it is charging and after 2 hours or so it turned green I was like ok I will use it again in the morning but in the morning it was completely dead, no power at all, no clock nothing. I took it off the dock and plugged it from the side but nothing so I said maybe the batteries are gone. I order new batteries but the same thing no power at all. I took out my volt meter and checked the charger it was giving 22v then I checked both batteries it was giving 16v. but then last night I saw around 2am it was charging again I was like puzzled but I was like ok I will try it in the morning and now the same thing no power at all. I shook it, put the old batteries in and out and nothing check the batteries, no power. I called Irobot support and they said they don’t support 500 series anymore. I need some help to fix it, can anybody help?? My email is [email protected] and tell me where to send it to for repair which Is reasonable.

Since the support for this product is kinda dead. You won’t be able to find replacement parts unless you salvage them from other robots. Maybe you could try the reset procedure for the battery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj0eW4ydV78
