they’ve made this robotic fish to test the water quality, there’s a video near the bottom of the page where you can see it swimming, i think it looks rather smooth.
on the other hand, for £20k+, it should be!

I work with someone who worked on the on Robocod and know how difficult that sort of fluid motion is to simulate.
that’s a good claim to fame 
do you know any more about how they built it that you’d be able to share with us by any chance?
