Robot for the yard - just not sure exactly what it'll do yet though

Hi everyone - this was my crowning achievement of the holidays - taking an arm from standard robot kit materials and anchoring it to an all-terrain RC Chassis.

The reason for doing this was I wanted something to move around my yard - I may tweak it some to try and actually pull weeds for me - that'll take a lot of programming, so maybe as a start I'll stick to orange and lemon branches after pruning as they have too many thorns. After tweaking the robot arm a bit and putting some spacers on the shocks of the RC chassis, this thing seemed to run okay (which is the video link I put in here).

Some of the other steps involved in creating this monstrosity were documented at http://www.greenthumb-gearhead.com (where I am trying to write about a combination of my gardening and robot projects and how I can possibly use robots in my garden).

(For the record, I'm not trying to get as many links as possible to this site - it ain't pretty. I'm just using it as a as a means of showing the stuff I work on and collaborating, and I'll only put highlights of projects in forums so as not to overload them.) Thanks in advance for any comments, suggestions, etc. I don't even mind if you beat me up a little bit - I can take it :)

Cheers!

Dave.
