The thing I wonder about is

The thing I wonder about is if two currents a and b flow in opposing directions, mathematically the resulting current would be a - b.

I wonder though if a current that is not the result of two opposing currents (charges flow in one direction only), but has the same amperage, wouldn’t cause less friction and therefore less heat.

Anyways, that’s for another time.
