RIP Lumni!

I’m so sorry to hear this

I’m so sorry to hear this terrible news.  I never had the pleasure to meet him in person, but regarded him as a friend and have always enjoyed his commentary and commaraderie.   So very sad, my heart goes out to his daughter and family.  Its a reminder our time is short and the important parts are the bonds we share with each other.  We may pass away, but the bonds live on.

Dear Lumni,

        We’ll miss you.

I’m sorry to hear the sad news

I’m sorry to hear the sad news.

Although I didn’t know Lumi on a personal level, we did exchange a comment from time, to time. Lumi was always friendly, helpful and encouraging to me.

Without Lumi, the world appears a darker place.

My thoughts are with his friends, family’s and all that knew him.

So sorry to hear this! Lumi

So sorry to hear this! Lumi was such a talented artist and robot maker! And a good LMR friend! RIP Lumi… sorry we never had a chance to meet in real life…

sad to hear this

I didn’t know him well but his work was inspirational and he was a great member of this community.

Oh My dear God!

Lumi,

Was a great, great person and we were working on software together for the robot world.

This is so sad I received a email from him on Wednesday when he arrived in California as was waiting to hear more from him.

I had so wondered why I did not hear back from him.

He had just got a flat in Germany and was going to relocate there, his wife and daughter are already there.

I am so sad to hear this, he was truly a great person and a friend.

Here is the last email received from him on Wednesday May 13 2015.

we arrived safe in San Francisco and waiting for the hotel checkin now. Tonight we are visiting Noisebridge, the maker space and later i will try your software if you have something i can download.

Well…getting up that early is true spirit

I had a great honor to meet

I had a great honor to meet him in person. We will remember, Lumi…

To the Stars…

with you, friend. Like your name, you were a beacon of inspiration.

It was always a pleasure to chat and see your creations. So long, friend.

Condoleance to his family

So sad. I have no word.

He was an inspiration to me.

One of the “pilars” of LMR, I follow carefully posts or comments.

RIP.

Looking up to Lumni
