There is a setting in the motion file that dictates the frames per seconds, you can try changing that. Can’t remember the name of the setting but search for “frame” or something similar.
Thanks For Your Reply…
Hello vince086 thanks for your answer …I try out what you told me but is the same. I change the camera (3 actually) but it still the same. I also overclocked it at 950Mhz (High (One step before turbo(1000Mhz))) to see if this doing anything but nothing. Is there any other service instead of motion to do the same work or is there anything else in motion config file…
Please Let Me Know

Are you using a USB camera or the raspberry camera module?
Are you testing the steaming locally? As in are you trying to stream to something on the same network or are you trying to stream to somewhere over the internet?

I am using a usb camera and for the now state i am trying to stream it throw it’s own IP address (raspberry pi ) (local on my home network) but nothing
maybe a stupid question…
but how are you viewing the output? is it through vlc or something on another networked machine or through a monitor hooked to the pi? or are you using vnc from another machine? vnc is always very slow.
also if you’re running the full desktop on the pi (kde or gnome) the pi might run pretty slow.

oops… just saw you said a web viewer… what kind? it could just be the player is refreshing frames with js or something and only refreshing around 2 frames per second. try pulling the stream directly in vlc or another streaming player.
