If not, what’s the alternative or work-around as I need to ADC 16 analog signals.

Hi,
It seems like the RB-Wav-08 is using two SPI interfaced chips (the ADC chip and the DAC chip). The Raspberry Pi only has two hardware CS (chip select) pins and the hats hardwire these to the two chips. Therefore, it seems unlikely that two hats would stack properly since any command sent by SPI would trigger the two hats and cause an issue in the response (bus contention).
Therefore, you will need a different option to obtain 16 ADC channels. Luckily, we have a great option for you, a I2C-based hat with 8 channels, the RB-Abu-05. According to the manufacturer, you can stack up to four of these to obtain a maximum of 32 channels.
edit: you may also be interested in this product: RB-Pit-26. This one also uses I2C and has 16 channels on board. You can also select its address so it is most likely stackable, too.

Yes, I saw those two boards you mentioned but unfortunately they are out of stock for now.

Yes, they do seem out of stock currently. That being said, there are a few currently ordered waiting on stock, so we recommend that you place your order ASAP so as to reserve your boards from the incoming stock.
If you wait for them to show up as “in stock”, you may simply not catch it since they may be already all purchased before they even arrive to our warehouses. Typically, these boards are ordered in small quantities, about once a month. The last order was about 2 weeks ago. Please note this information concerning orders and quantities may vary due to customer demand and manufacturer stock availability.
