The transmitter and receiver should not need binding, at least not unless you are using a different receiver?
The ESC (normally) simply plugs into the receiver. That unit seems to be the core of your setup, and is a unit we don’t sell nor support unfortunately.
Coleman, I had the power source ESC polarities reversed. Everything worked fine after I found the error. Everything is working fine on the M16. Thanks for the quick reply
Jim
Coleman, There is a constant beeping that I assume is the low battery alarm. I see it can be re-programed for a lower voltage but I need a programming cable T8FB USB for that. Where can I get the cable or is it ok to disconnect the buzzer ?
We might be able to special order one. Please contact us via [email protected] with the code and manufacturer, and we’ll see if we can obtain it.
I’m almost ready to give up. I need help.
I recently bought one of your T8FB units for my Torro M16 halftrack that I have installed an Elmod module into.
Everything works fine except the low voltage alarm keeps beeping. I read in the directions that I needed a cable (not included) to reprogram the controller to get of the beeping. I ordered one from china and received it today. However, when I plugged it in to my computer I cannot find any location or file that looks anything like the directions in the manual. Do I need to download something?? The directions jump from the connection instructions to showing the Programming screen. I cannot locate the programming screen

If this is not what you see, can you provide a screen capture? You can attach it below your reply (default closed).
Well I downloaded the configuration file and I can get the first screen on page 10 as per the manual but when I click on connect I get a wrong parameter message
Sorry Coleman the page I was referring to was page 9 on the manual not page 10. (The start page).
The message “the parameter is incorrect” keeps coming up. when I click on connect. I think once connected I should have no trouble setting the alarm.
Is it possible that you have multiple devices connected to COM ports and the software is detecting the wrong one? Also, is the unit powered when you open the software? Try playing with the settings.
If that does not work still, it would be best to contact the manufacturer directly: [email protected]
If they are unable to resolve the issue, or if you have trouble establishing communication, or if they determine the product you purchased from RobotShop is defective, please write to us at [email protected] with a link to this forum post, a record of your communication with them and your order or invoice number.
OK I’ll give it a try Coleman
Well I tried connecting to another laptop and got the same error message. However. I tried my desktop and when I pulled up the screen and hit connect I got the message “connecting” it was using com 1. It went on forever without connecting so I tried com 2. Same result. Just kept trying to connect. It just can’e seem to find the transmitter. I made sure everything was turned on before I started the program. The cable connection is correct. I noticed only two red lights come on on the USB connector. Should there be a third light??
The next attempt will be with the manufacturer - they are in the best position to help. You might also want to provide them with a link to the page where you purchased the cable.
I’ll give it a try Coleman. If I could figure out how to disable the alarm I would do it as it is not really needed. Oh well, either that or wrap a pillow around it LOL
This transmitter have a low voltage allarm but it is set for higher voltage battery from factory.
You need to connecte the USB connector and user the software to change it’s setpoint.
I realize that and therein lies the problem. I have emailed Radiolink. If they can’t solve it I may just look for another Non-radiolink transmitter.
You’re not able to change the settings?
You will find the software in the “Useful Links” section of our product page.

Eric Nantel - please read all the previous postings to see what I’ve tried.
Please attach a picture of the underside of your transmitter.
For anyone looking to do the same, here is the PDF file we created this morning:

Great file and instructions. Solved my problem in about 10 minutes
