I have had 2 litter robot 3 connect for around 5 years, but the last couple of months one of them went crazy.
First, the fast yellow blink, pinch error. I cleaned it extensively, and nothing. I ended up connecting both cables, to have the circuit permanently in touch, and nothing. Considering maybe it was regarding the two metallic stripes between the robot and the upper case, I even put a metallic clip joining the stripes, so if the case is open or out completely, it should still work. Nothing, same fast yellow blink…
Secondly, when you manually put the globe on home position, often it does not find the home position when it rotates, or so it seems, since it just rotates and rotates and rotates… even in the wrong way!
And third, when it gets the fast yellow blinking, there’s nothing you can do. The app is unresponsive, as well as the physical buttons. No way of pressing reset, even disconnecting the power, nothing…
Since I have 2 robots, I tried replacing the main motherboard, putting in the faulty robot the board from the one that works OK, but… after two days, the same problems again.
Honestly, after around 10h trying things, I’m totally lost here.
