New sequencer is out! what have you discovered so far?

Slow down there. I have to pry Beth’s fingers off the Nintendo controller connected to her PC long enough for her to upload the new version. lol

D’oh. I’m on it.
-Grumble, grumble…-

It’s done!

Thanks Beth…

Robot Dude, you are gonna ahve to share your secrets… If I was trying to get my missus to do something, the phrase “You know where the stuff is so do it yourself” would have been retort no 1

enlighten us mere mortals please…

Beth is one of those all too rare geek gurls most geek guys want, but never find.

I’ve been looking for years and have had no success so far.

I wouldnt suggest any blind dating on the forums either

No mysterious secret here guys. Beth is my daughter, not my wife. :open_mouth: Beth is my right hand man, except she sits on my left and is a girl. lol

Well I’m even more impressed, all my daughter would say is ‘not bovvered’. Respect to all of you and keep up the good work…

I dont know what THOSE guys were thinking :open_mouth:

denies eye contact and acts casual Whistle’s casually**

Wow, Laureatus, you are truely awesome at making SEQ and the other LM software better and better! I am really looking forward to being able to work with SEQ at some point, and am really good at beating bugs out of software.:smiley: Several years ago, I did maintenance programming/feature updating for a regular job.

Thanks

another good news here : roborealm.com:80/help/Lynxmotion_Seq.php

I saw that, and went immediately to upgrade my version of RoboRealm. I feel like I am gradually being assimilated into the Microsoft BORG… I may just decide to go quietly and give in, because there are just too many neat things for Windows to play with…

I like to stay current as much as possible, even though I don’t have SEQ to play with yet.

I know how it must be ripping you to make a move from Linux but may I make a suggestion…

Install XP on a machine and also install VMWare, I believe there is now a free version you can install. Then install as many copies as Linux as you see fit. If you use the VMware network drivers it gives it a seperate IP address as if it were a remote machine.

Dont use MS Virtual PC as its limited on what it can support.

I run several virtual machines on my XP install and its good. Even Solaris and OSX Tiger will run.

DONT go near Vista, we have had so many issues with it that we have had to remove 2 installations…

Lynxmotion…Locutus…very BORG sounding names…

Just keep repeating to yourself… I am Hugh… I am Hugh…

No, it does not really bother me.

I am mostly just kidding and am not against Microsoft or Windows at all. I just keep wishing for those types of tools for Linux and UNIX is all. I believe in using whatever tools get the job done best at the time, but am always looking for ways to do more of what I want in Linux/UNIX.

Hmmm, I will have to look into this when I get my main PC back up to at least 1 Gig of RAM. I would rather get the Linux version of VMWare and use that to run Windows applications though.

I will be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the Windows Vista world and will be staying with XP Pro as long as possible.

Hmmmm, now that you mention it, the two names do share some similarity in look and sound… I wonder where Jim was ***really *** born…
