8 dbi patch antenna…
Dig it…
Thank you for the link. I have been looking for an upgrade (actually, just something that works) for the cheapie that I have been using. Good stuff over there at rangevideo --good “range” of prices as well. Good stuff.
today i made my first tests
today was my first video-fly-test-transmition, !!!
the video link was great, the antenna works like a charm, had a little problem with the ATX power supply in the ground station, it blew the fuse twice!!! and now i think its damaged… gonna change it for a new one…
i am having one problem, the video looks awsome on the ground station monitor, looks good on the laptop, but when is recorded on the laptop the video looses quality… i am going to upload the todays video in some moments… if you see a little interference or glitch is because the receivers antenna, it is not omnidirectional and sometimes the uav goes out of the range cone… (now i am working on the antenna tracker)
Nice project~
Very beautiful man!! Great work. Not just from the way it looks, I could imagine how complex the program might be and how many hours you have spend on it. I don’t think those equipment are lower than $800 thou.
hello!!!
yes my friend, all that you need to do this is less than 800$
by the way, the software was made by the DIYDRONES people, open source and well made, works really good…

In English, we call this kind of crash a “lawn dart”…
only damage…
i made yesterday a pan and tilt system (self designed) for my camera, (have i said that i found a second hand futaba 9z???) now i can control my camera from the radio…
so......... the only thing broken (besides monokote and balsa wood) was the micro servo on the back on the camera...
this has to be my crash number 564 or the 565, lost my count...... jajajajajajajajajajajaja :-)
Was it a "Rise of the
Was it a “Rise of the Machines” situation where the robot fought you? or was it the added weight of all the new gadgets causing an unexpected stall?
either way, sorry for your loss.

Oh man, that live TV is just freakin AWESOME!
And it flies, congratuvery lations!! Also, UAV, yer!
If you can make the camera look around and wear a helmet that controls where it looks, then your life is complete and you might as well just die, because you have done it all!
Dam, I would love to try and fly that thing with the camera
Man!
That is awesome, man!!!
