First, thanks for posting. Second, I think TOF stand for “Time Of Flight”. Please provide more details about your specific unit. I am in need of something that will work up to 3 meters.

It is good up to 200 mm or 7 inches, not sure of one that will work at that distance. You might want to look at a lidar.
