I ordered a MakeBlock Starter Kit with Electronics yesterday. I decided if I was going to get something for robotics before I got my stuff down here from Oregon, that I would have to get something I don’t currently have. The only other candidate would be the Actobotics parts, but that is a bit too expensive for me right now. With the Starter Kit, I can build two different robots, and it’s possible that MakeBlock parts might be compatible with what I already have.
I have been looking at the MakeBlock stuff for sometime, and it looks like a worthwhile kit, so I want to investigate it further. RobotShop does not stock some of the parts I want to work with though, so I may have to order some stuff direct from the MakeBlock store. I would like to see if I can build a multi-deck octagonal robot frame.

Feel free to post the part numbers for the products you are considering but which we don’t carry.
