Now I come to ask, what possible applications do you think Machine learning can have in the manufacturing industry?
As far as I know, machine learning is a great part of a new industrial revolution, or so called Industry 4.0. I know that a lot of big factories are investing a lot in trying to install some kind of Industry 4.0.
For example, with machine learning, theoretically, machine could adapt to a new process (or process change) by itself, only by analyzing previous data. It could also predict when the malfunction will happen and when maintenance is required etc. So, DATA is a big player here. A lot of data is needed
