After a quick phone call we found that the servos that were not responding were plugged into the SSC-32 backwards. I never would have thought to ask that. 
But i’m glad it’s working now. 
I was going to ask that! awwww… 
anyways im glad he got it working, I too did that same mistake my first time with the SSC
