Can the Lynxmotion SES - Mini Parallel Gripper Kit be fitted to an AL5D arm, and if so, how?

@rpd Regarding the Lynxmotion SES - Mini Parallel Gripper Kit:


You can see better in the third image that there is a partial SES pattern with five holes, of which three line up with the SES V1 pattern.

To attach this gripper to the AL5D (without optional wrist rotate), you can connect this pattern to the final C-bracket for the wrist. This would mean the gripper is perpendicular to the bracket so you should still be able to pick up objects horizontally or vertically, though how you attach it will decide which orientation is possible. it would be wired the same was as the littler gripper kit.

Well, the description says that it will heat up rapidly and burn out if you’re not very careful. How true that is!!
