I am going to build a Fixed wing UAV , with atlas 30 minutes flight. and abt 5~8 KG.
Which motor is good for me?? electrical or diesel? with which battery? and is it possible to connect that to APM autopilot?

@Alireza You should be able to get 30 minutes of flight from a normal brushless DC motor and propeller. If you are in the brainstorming stage, we suggest creating a new topic on the RobotShop Forum. We can provide ideas for the frame, motors, autopilot etc.

So it is wiser to use electrical motor for 30 min fixed wing,8 KG ,25m/s,1000ft instead of diesel motor?

@Alireza They each have their advantages / disadvantages - most “drones” are still multirotor rather than aircraft, so the best research / discussion between gas powered and DC brushless motors for fixed wing can be found on RC airplane forums. Same goes for the calculations.
