hi,
i want to build to 5kg payload quadcopter, can you suggest me motors other specification ?
thank you
@tauqeer khan For a copter to have a payload of 5Kg, the copter itself will likely weight around 10Kg (guess), so the motors will need to provide around 30Kg of thrust (around 7.5Kg each). Unfortunately we do not carry any motors which offer that thrust at this time (max ~2Kg).
i want to make home made ESC please tell me sir how low currunt from arduino convert 30A or more as output in ESC please help me with this sir.
Dear sir…!
I want to know about thrust of motors …i mean to say if i will used 900kv brushless motor for drone project
And on other side i will using 2000kv motor or more than 200Kv so
Which brushless can lift up more load?
More KV’s can lift more load?
Liw KV’s can lift more Load?
@MuhammadSaad It’s really the motor + propeller combination (at a certain voltage) which determines the maximum thrust. KV relates RPM to voltage, but faster spinning motors do not necessarily mean more thrust. Lower Kv motors tend to be better for multirotor UAVs, but whenever possible, it’s best to contact the motor manufacturer to see if they can provide thrust data given certain propellers. Hi Coleman, help me, please, I wanted Mounted my DRONE F450, I utilize ESC 30A and Motor Brushless of 920 Kv, my Drone weight 1.2 Kg, it isn’t flighting, 2 motors works normal, but other 2 not works well, I already calibrated the motors, but the drone not flight, What Do i Have to do?
@Marcio That will take quite a bit of troubleshooting. You’ll need to create a new topic on the RobotShop Forum and list all of the parts you are using, as well as a video of what’s happening. It might be a weight issue, software issue, connection issue… hard to tell.
Hi, i want to drone lift 2kg of weight. then which kv and v motor and prop and a lipo battery i choose
reply me sir please. your answer is most useful to me
@rajesh It’s less about the Kv, prop and battery and more about the specs of individual motors with proposed props. Normally for multirotor, the lower the Kv the better. You did not specify how many motors, but if it’s a quadcopter, each motor will need to be able to provide 1Kg max thrust.
Sir, I need to make a quadcopter of total weight with payload within 5kg and flight time of around 15-20 min. So what motor should I use with 745 propeller and will 3s battery be enough? And do I need voltage converters?
A 5Kg quadcopter is a bit heavier than most. It’s less about the propeller than it is about the motor + propeller combination: look up motors which provide thrust data with specific propellers and batteries. Yo’ll need each combination to provide 2.5Kg of thrust at full throttle.

You’d use this with a 22.2V LiPo and 16*5 4CF propeller to get 3Kg of thrust at 100% throttle.
this is epic information helped me a lot regarding drones thanks
