How many of you use successfully Botboarduino in phoenix?

If the board “chirps” that’s a good sign. Another consideration is if you pressed the “start” button on the PS2 remote to start the robot? If you have done a lot of button smashing, the robot be in the wrong mode (single leg move for example).

Okay Kurte,

You were right again. I finally got the SSC-32 firmware updated and applied your fix …As you advised in other threads.

I wound up trying two different USB-serial adapter cables without success…turns out I was using the wrong baud rate. In the end I don’t know which cable I was using when I discovered my baud oversight (I was overlooking that firmware update requires 115.2k on jumpers and software)

I’m now up and running!!! There is a lot of refining to do (fix sloppy wiring, calibrate ugly gait, and what’s up with the short battery life?). But, still …

A HEARTY THANKS TO ALL YOU GURU’S THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THIS THREAD and got me through the debug.

No, really…Thanks a lot!

Hi Forum Members,
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year Ahead!!!

I just join the forum. I purchase the Botboarduino , SSR 32U Servo Controller and the PS2 Controller from LynxMotion recently and I read
Docpkrdude comment that he has the similar problem like me in downloading the “BotBoarduino_CH3R_PS2.ino” in the arduino software into the Botboarduino board with Error Message “Directory Not Found”. I check the Device Manager and the Port only shows USB Com5 and No sign of Duemilanove Driver presence. When I connect to Arduino UNO board automatically the Device Manager Shows Port: UNO Driver

I wonder Docpkrdude how did you solve this problem as I read your problem article in this Forum

Dr. Dominic
