Now I just ned my ordered shipped and I will be set.

i am so getting one of these, but will i get 6 free metal servo horns if i bye 6 422servos?

I have built a couple of these and am building several more. Here are a few more images…

The Ultimate I-Pod Accessory.

SSC-32 / Bot Board and Ping sensor on a servo.

Heh…
If I took my biped appart, I could have 3 mini bipeds.

Sigh…
I just know that I’m going to have to eventually do this, now.
Thanks, a lot, Jim.
You really know how to ruin an ongoing project!

Um… er, eh, um… Hey I’m working on providing a way for the mini bipeds to converse with each other via IR… um, I mean I’m sorry…

:smiling_imp: how awesome would it be to have an army of these things with some big bipeds for artilarry, and some biped scouts to do actual scouting and a robonova as the general?

Better yet!
How awesome would it be if we could afford that?!?!

you make an excellent argument nick

ok I got mine pieced together tonight … need some more work on the wiring but I should be able to start trying to get him to walk tomorrow night.

o0o0o0o0o ahhhhhh

wats that colorful see through highlighty color stuff?

I have 3 of them built. I’ll get a couple more done this weekend. Here is a group shot…

I would love to see one made with two 3DF arms!

That is UV Green Acrylic… I did a review / How-to on making fan grills for computers on a sit and A.C.Rayn gave me a lot of it for free. So It gets used alot .

Looking at Robot Dudes far right guy… makes me wonder if adding my CVS camcorder to mine would make him look like a UV headed step child.

I have a lot of pics to go through tonight and get my Log done for mine (maybe even get it added to a project / guide on Gideontech)

EDIT: Looks I have my bot sitting to far back on the feet :frowning:

Well these guys can’t have arms. :open_mouth: This small 6 servo biped relies on it’s light weight in order to get away with using 422 servos. As soon as you add even 3 DOF arms you have really increased the weight, and will need to upgrade to stronger servos. I think of them as metal furballs, like the Nuts and Volts mascott. I am building some with 475, 5475, and 645 servos too. James want’s to make one jump. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep, the way to make sure this works well for you is to keep the COG right over the feet.

LOL

Well tonight I will try doing things with out the SSC-32 program and see if I can get him to walk. If I can (and it doesnt look like a stork) then I can try a Jump as I have the 645 in the legs and JR-75BB for the ankles.

Jim,

I say go 5645’s and see what it looks like with arms. :stuck_out_tongue:

As long as this James can get his laptop to recognize this little guy, mine will jump too. I’m using 5645’s from my big biped that never got built :smiling_imp:

hey jim, where did you get that fancy little camera-thinga-ma-jig?

if been wanting to get one and that one looks perfect

maybe you could start selling those beasts on your site
