3 years ago, I chose to make my own experiments on bipedal walk. I wanted to put to the test my skills in engineering, manufacturing, electronics, IT and System Control on a very challenging topic. I manufacture most mechanical components, electronic boards and I write all the S/W used in this Robot.
This Blog is dedicated to share my experiments on the manufacturing of HORUS Mk. I, the progress of its walking abilities and the creation of the upper body. http://www.avbotics.com
This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://community.robotshop.com/robots/show/horus-mk-i-my-biped-robot

I see you have a video on the site - feel free to post here. Well done - not many people succeeed at full scale humanoid development.
Awesome work! are you creating a robotics company or is it a develop project?
what program is that in the screen shot?
Thanks, this is a personal project to demonstrate my robotics skills. If someone is interested…
The program on the Screen is Matlab / Simulink. This is the software I used to develop the robot control (along with C/C++ written functions).
Simulink includes dashboard features: the screen displays hip angles measured by the IMU.
This is really an awesome project. I to plan to work on a biped similar to yours. I wish you all the best on this endeavour!!
