Yep, the kit includes only what is shown in the picture, so you will need the tubing, as well as wire and heat shrink.
Makes sense since the needs of each individual will differ regarding the tubing length or other possible ways of attaching the assembly.
After Jonny mentioned that he was about to start experimenting with these, I remembered that some of the things I wanted to try out with these…
Are they available? I browsed the store and did not find them. Did find an old FSR type of foot sensor. I looked at the link that was a few posts back: lynxmotion.com/Product.aspx? … egoryID=89
And it showed some new Aluminum SES Robot Wheel - 2.75"D x 0.27"W (pair).

After we transferred the old database into the new store, there was a time when we were having to add things into both the old and new stores separately. So there are a few links that aren’t correct, because of us adding the items into each store in different orders (the product ID is different).

Sounds Great! I need to sit down and figure out what parts I need. I will probably convert my CHR-3 which currently has legs that look like:http://www.lynxmotion.com/images/product/large/3dofcblk.jpg
Into legs that can take the contact sensors. Probably http://www.lynxmotion.com/images/product/large/3dofablk.jpg
My guess is I will just need to order something like:
3 Tubing Foot Switch Kit (Pair)
3 Aluminum Multi-Purpose Servo Bracket Two Pack
3 Aluminum “L” Connector Bracket Two Pack
3 Aluminum Tubing Connector Hub (pair)
I will try to verify this later.

I was thinking in pairs and only ordered 3 11/2 tubes… Hard to make 6 legs I will check to see if I have some other longer ones still sitting around that I can try to cut to size…

That is a very common tubing sensor but I can find some in Ebay. So, I am trying to search on electronics center here in our place. It is very useful for as a sensor.
