No problem. One of the things I hate the most when it’s time to control a robot is non existent USB plug IN on it or on the control pad.

Welcome to this forum myrobot. I hope you’ll find your answers. For a start, take a look to this documentation :
robotshop.ca/learning-center.html
The best companies make good tutorials and a lot of examples. They want to have products to be use as easy as possible. For this, you’ll have to spend only some hours of read. Go get a good C++ book and learn a little about the logic and syntax. An expert from robotshop will surely suggest you a good book from their site and some suggestions.
Before spending time to make a robot, think about that :
how much money you’re ready to pay
what do you want to do with your robot
Do you want an autonomous robot or controled by a PC / portable or a PS2 gamepad.
Here some good products to start :
Vexrobotics, Phidgets, irobot, arduino, lynxmotion, lego mindstorm.
Good luck

I have one more quick question. I fanily got the Microstoft Robotics stuido and while looking through the programs I found something called VPL. I read its tourtorial on the internet and while messing around with it I saw one of its controls is programed in VP. My two questions are can I interface a robotics porgram or AI made using VPL with kind of a command and control system programed in VB? Also (this sounds kind of stupid ) I am kind of getting the impression that you can’t program any AI or logic in VB and you can only make a fly by wire program in VB. So are you able to make automonous robots programed in VB?
PS Thanks agin
