I have a new model from Eufy Robovac, model L70 Hybrid. It does an amazing job of cleaning, but has the same problem as above with carpets that have black pattern. The robot vacuum does not cross the black lines thinking that it’ll fall.
Unfortunately on this model, covering the cliff sensors work paper or aluminum foil does not work. I think it becomes too dark for the sensor and the robot will not move. However, making four or five loops with transparent tape and sticking them on the cliff sensor seems to work.
