Hello everybody!

I've been browsing the Web for projects using the 555 timer, and found one that interested me: a stun gun. I've been constantly working on the circuit (schematic can be found here). However, getting it work has been impossible for me. For example, according to the description, the transformer alone can produce 1kV, but my multimeter only detects 9VDC, the same as my 9V battery power supply. I even bought a second transformer, just to see if the first one was defective, but still no success.

I am not seeing any pictures.

I would guys one of a few issues. You attempted to link to local images. You attempted to upload an image type that isn’t recognized. You attempted to upload an image that is too large (>2mB)
