Hi everybody.
I get exactly the same issue than the one cruelboy encountered but no miracle solution for me.
I’m also using a usb to serial adapter that seems to work properly with a printer.
what could you advise me?
(i’ve entirely read the sticky topic “usb to serial port troubleshooting.”)
I tested voltage each time it was suggested everything was allright.
The only test , i’m stuck with, is the db9 connection between port 3 to 4. I’m not shure to understand properly.
I put a jumper between both pins and tried to type a “ver” on the terminal without getting any echo message. Is this relevant?
(sorry for my english too!, and thanks for your help)
I also noticed that when unplugging the 9V battery of the logic power, I get several “YYYYYY” feedback on the terminal…
Don’t know if it’s a clue…
