A BasicAtomPro processor must be connected to program

first of all, thank you for help =D

I use a Laptop (windows 7 64Bit) with a powered USB HUB.

the atom pro seat right on the socket from the bb2.

and i have updated the com port in the Basic Micro studio.

There is only the power sopply and the serial connection

Only the Basic micro studio is open

it still not work =(

do you or another people have another solutions?

I would like to see a few pictures to look for anything unusual. Other people can jump in anytime.

I find this a little unusual on a Windows 7 system. All of the systems I have seen assign a higher COM port number to a USB to serial adapter. Have you tried other available COM ports

Windoz 7 also appears to be watching the Basic Micro Studio closely, or maybe it’s the virus protection. Three times now I’ve had BM Studio “removed”, and had to install it. I’ve yet to get the drivers to load. Might look at loading/running in admin mode. It’s not my primary development system (it’s a new laptop), so I haven’t worked on the problem seriously.

Now i use the Com port 5 …

i think very strange, that sometimes the tiking is not normal…

when i put my USB to RS232 cable on the BB2, then is the tiking sometimes not normal… and the Leds A B and C go off.

But only sometimes… otherwise the Tiking is normal and the LEDS A B and C light normal.

is there a diffrent, when i use a Basic micro studio and not a Basic atom pro?

It looks like you have an Atom, not an Atom Pro. So, you need to change the two drop down lists at the top of studio. First change “BasicAtomPro” to “BasicAtom”, then change the next drop down to “BasicAtom28”

Okey i have changed it… but i have still the same error =(

could i control my hexapod with the atom 28 via PS2 controller?

i hope =$

I would think the error message changed…

How long have you had this Atom? I had an older atom that I had a very difficult time getting Studio to make work… You might try to old Legacy IDE which you can download from the Basic Micro site and see if it will talk to it (downloads.basicmicro.com/downloa … m_2211.zip)

Depends, not sure what type of Hexapod you have… If you have something like a phoenix and wish to use the phoenix code, it will not work. However if you have a robot like a CHR-3 or the like that is compatible with powerpod (lynxmotion.com/p-566-free-do … erpod.aspx), yes it is possible to get it to work.

Also if you have a 2 DOF hex robot, you can make use of the SSC-32 Hex sequence code as well…

I have a BH3 Hexapod… so i must buy a Atom Pro 28? for the Phoenix code?

??

Yes.
