In a paper published in National Science Review, an international team of scientists present the concept of intelligent indoor metasurface robotics by exploring the centralized intelligent metasurface as the robot brain for the God’s eye view. The strategy could hold important potentials in resolving the limitations of existing robots in perceiving and responding to the dynamically evolving complex environment due to their inherently limited capabilities of sensing and computing resources.
