MIT researchers invented a fully automated fast-flow instrument called Tiny Tides that can synthesize cell-penetrating peptide-conjugated peptide nucleic acids (PPNAs) in a single shot, significantly increasing speed and efficiency. The work could one day enable antivirals, including potentially against SARS-Cov-2.
