DJI plans to release an app that lets anyone track and identify quadcopters and similar machines that are flying nearby. It would also show the drone’s altitude, speed, travel direction, and pilot location. DJI said the aim is to offer an easy way to monitor drones “for enhanced safety, security, and peace of mind.”
