This is my second attempt to build a Power Wheels racer, and I upgraded from 3 wheels to 6. More is always better. This ride is called the Triple Moped, and is mostly just 3 electric scooters welded together. We upped it from 24V to 36V, and everything is controlled using a solenoid switch from a golf cart. Despite the extremely terrible build quality, it actually has Ackermann steering and toe in (on the outer two wheels), so it corners surprisingly well and is stable at speed. We got this all done in time to compete at the Power Racing Series event at the Detroit Maker Faire, and then realized that registration closed 3 weeks before the event so we can’t go. Maybe another time though.
