Yes those are the motors. I have only looked at the quadrature pulses with my scope. I don’t remember the frequency, but the pulses were very crisp and clean. The encoder is on the motor, not the final gear so the resolution is pretty decent.
Jim, just to let you know, the datasheet for the GHM-15 is linked to the '14 datasheet.
The manufacturer didn’t supply me with a spec sheet for the GHM-15. The motor is identical except for the encoder. It’s a standard quadrature encoder, but that’s all I know about it.
Same encoder as the QME-01? Do you have any specs on it? I am trying to make a model for my bot so I can plan the sizes out.
I explained this to Beth, and she is going to see if she can get an actual spec sheet for the GHM-15, including dimensions with the encoder.

Hi Jim,
Do you still plan to offer the Rover in a six wheel drive (6WD) version?
With Christmas fast approaching I would assume that the six wheel drive version will be on your todo list for 2008?
Comments?

TCIII
Um, yeah… I sort of left it slip off my radar. I do plan to geto the rovers up to speed next year. Sorry about the delays.
Stay motivated. The longer you wait, the cooler it will be 8)
Hi Jim,
When do you expect to start working on the 6 wheel rover design?

Hi Jim,
Since you have not responded to my inquiry about designing and selling a 6WD Rover, have you decided not to do so?
Regards,
TCIII
Not to speak for Jim, as I’m sure he’ll chime in on Monday, he has alot on his plate. He checks countless emails a day on top of his regular duties. I’m surprised he finds time for the forums at all.
I know he’s got a long list of new products and updates on the table right now with many people harping on him to finish all of them as soon as possible. I’m sure he’ll reply and if he hasn’t released it yet, it’s only because he hasn’t had time to make sure it’s perfect before selling it.
Although I try, I do not have the ability to answer every post. Feel free to email me if I seem to be missing a forum question.
I do have a desire to make the 6WD rovers. However I am not able to work on it at this time. I can’t give it the attention it deserves, so it will just have to wait till I have more time. Sorry…
Hi Jim,
Thanks for the response.
No problem. Fully understand.
A quality product takes time and I know that you have a lot on your plate at this time.
