Simple setup enables a 2D radar to trigger a camera to capture an image of an approaching object (animal, person, vehicle).

A great addition is this sensor. I have no doubt that this type of device will enhance many applications that require motion tracking. Image processing is very expensive, if this sensor manages this own process and only delivers the data, the way we perceive the world through the machines will be friendlier. Waiting for this sensor to be released and read some good work with it.

Thanks for the comments. The sensor is actually available now. Ordering through RobotShop and it will ship within the week.
