what do people use to cut off power from the batteries in a 24volt system. I had a 12v dc switch that was rated at 30amps from autozone but I think the power going through ruined it.
I just want a simple toggle switch to seperate the batteries from the robot.
Once you get over about 10 amps DC, you either need to go to a commercial style marine, RV, truck disconnect, type, (not cheap), or a contactor. The other alternative would be the old school style knife switch.
Thanks I just went and bought a Hella switch 100amp 24volt. I was hoping for a simple toggle but I just burned up a 50amp 12 volt. I guess I pull mor than 25amps.
