i have a 21st century big bounder wheelchair 24v 11.6 miles , i want to hook up a 48v lithium battery to 2dbl the speed w/o burning electronics? pls help.
Applying 48 volts to a 24 volt system is “burning up” the system. These systems are designed for a specific power supply, and have their limits.
Imagine applying 240 volts to your 120 volt light bulb. Poof! Don’t do it.

is there anyway i could beef up the board or does everything has to be changed?
Sorry, but yes, the power MOSFETS in the motor control board, and the motors would have to be changed to a higher rating. With higher voltage and current, the thermal management of the board and motors would also need to be addressed.
