White Box Robotics Now Shipping PC Bots

Posted on 04/11/2006 by wcox in Research
ImageWhite Box Robotics has finally started shipping its first run of PC 914 robots. By now the first run should be completely shipped, sans the attractive outer shell, due to delays in manufacturing.
You may also notice that two small vertical parting lines were added to the bottom of the robot to bring back the beautiful, slim "Y" body look of the original prototypes. Without the parting lines, the 914 had a thick, "fat-bottom" look. That proportioned look was much harder to achieve than you might think.
You can find more pictures of the new robot skins over at 914PCBots.com.
