RobotShop at the Unitree Global Partner Conference

This past October, RobotShop had the honor of attending Unitree’s first Global Partner Conference in Hangzhou, China; a three-day event uniting leading distributors, partners, and robotics innovators from around the world under the theme “Stronger Together.”

RobotShop’s invitation to the event is a recognition of its growing partnership with Unitree Robotics, built on mutual goals, global ambitions, and technical expertise.

Global Partnership in Robotics Innovation

As an official Unitree Robotics distributor, we help connect Unitree’s cutting-edge technology with customers and institutions across North America, Europe, and Asia. By combining Unitree’s engineering excellence with our established e-commerce infrastructure and customer support, the partnership accelerates robotics adoption across research, education, and industry.

Beyond distribution, RobotShop’s mission is to make robotics accessible and impactful through our online platform, community, and growing integrator network. At the conference, we put this mission into practice, engaging directly with Unitree’s teams, exploring new products, and exploring opportunities to deliver even greater value and expertise to our clients.

The following video brings together highlights from the event and RobotShop’s presence as a key partner, showcasing moments of collaboration and innovation in action.

Inside Unitree’s 3-Day Event

Participants visited Unitree’s showroom, attended presentations, watched demonstrations, and discovered the company’s latest developments in humanoid and quadruped robotics. These activities showcased Unitree’s advanced R&D and forward-looking approach to human–robot collaboration.

At the end of the first day, all guests were treated to dinner and got to sample an excellent selection of Chinese cuisine and delicacies, and a variety of gifts were given out to a large number of people.

Our staff also attended training sessions, and a select group of participants visited Unitree’s headquarters and production facilities, gaining deeper insight into Unitree’s technology and global operations. Unitree engineers covered not only how to improve troubleshooting by going through common issues, but also details of their upcoming new products.

“I was truly impressed by Unitree’s organization, factory, and long-term vision for the future of humanoids and quadrupeds - all under the inspiring theme ‘Stronger Together.’ A vision that deeply resonates with RobotShop’s own purpose: together, fostering a world full of robots that positively impacts our lives.”
— Mario Tremblay, CEO, RobotShop

Unitree partners were also treated to the “Elegance of Xianghu” lake show, a large-scale performance blending art, light, and technology to symbolize the strength of collaboration and collective innovation driving the global robotics community forward.

Humanoid Robots Take the Spotlight: G1, R1 & H2

Unitree’s humanoid lineup was showcased through booth displays and live demonstrations, reflecting ongoing work to advance humanoid capabilities. The G1 humanoid impressed attendees with expressive choreographies, boxing routines and dexterous manipulations.

The upcoming G1-D was also on display in both configurations, pairing the G1’s upper body with either a mobile AGV base or a fixed stand, designed for telepresence and machine-learning research.

The R1 humanoid, currently available for pre-order at RobotShop, was also presented as Unitree’s most accessible platform to date, designed for universities, research institutions, and developers. Standing beside it, the brand-new H2 humanoid drew significant attention for its human-scale proportions and fluid movement, marking another step toward more natural and versatile humanoid systems. The implementation of facial features sparked significant discussions among attendees.

While not all humanoids were part of live demonstrations, their presence symbolized tangible progress, symbolizing how robotics and humans are working together. Unitree’s Global Partner Conference clearly placed the spotlight on humanoid advancements, marking a new chapter in robotics innovation - one that RobotShop proudly contributes to and continues to promote worldwide.

Quadruped Robots: Go2, A2 & B2

Participants were also welcomed to the event by a wide range of quadruped robots, comprising almost all of Unitree’s lineup. Demonstrations highlighted agility, navigation precision; participants were also encouraged to stand on the A2 robot, showing off its impressive 100Kg static payload capacity!

The new AI Agent Robot Solution for Education was also previewed: a workstation meant to work with a Go2 where the operator learns more about the inner workings, from the motors to the cameras. While official details and pricing have not yet been released, the initiative signals promising opportunities for the education sector.

Several configurations demonstrated real-world uses in inspection, firefighting, and education, reflecting Unitree’s commitment to expanding robotics applications. Many of these models, including advanced and wheeled Go2 versions, are already available through RobotShop, with the A2 open for pre-order and the B2 extending access to professional-grade robotics.

As these solutions become more accessible to professionals and institutions, their integration into real-world environments still requires expertise and support, services that RobotShop continues to expand through its growing global network and customer infrastructure.
