South Korea wants to build, not just one, but
two Robotland theme parks.
First ones in the world.
Already a dedicated site,
Robotland, talks about these huge projects that carry a hefty budget nearing
675 million US dollars.
"
Incheon Robot Land" should open in 2012 and plans to welcome
3 million visitors each year.
While the first park will be located on the west coast, the second one will be built in
Masan City, in the South-East coast.
However, tensions among the investors of the two parks are already building up even if they are not even built yet.
According to Plastic Pals, there should not be any competition since Incheon will focus primarily on domestic robots while Masan City's theme will be industrial robots, health care, and submarine robots.
