Recently we talked about
Stats Monkey, the automated program capable of replacing a sports journalist.
And now we have the
life-size journalist robot.
It can
move independently, interview people, take photos, conduct internet research and post articles online.
The jobs of journalists and bloggers have never been in so much danger ;-)
This prototype has been developed by the
Intelligent Systems Informatics Lab (ISI) at the University of Tokyo.
In fact, this robot would be perfect to carry out journalism work at events or conferences. It could move around the room and interview the main guests. Then it would publish its interviews live on its blog or on Twitter :-)
