Mahru Humanoid Robot imitator

Posted on 28/04/2010 by vabry in Humanoids
Mahru Mahru is a humanoid robot developed by the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in collaboration with Samsung. The idea behind this prototype is to get it to repeat the movements of a human by mimicry. Somebody moves in a certain way and the robot moves in exactly the same manner. It's a sort of remote-controlled telepresence robot. In other words, it could almost play the role of your clone that you send to meetings in your place :-) Mahru is also able to dance and perform Taekwondo movements. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJmQqC1nHTU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3laFyqaZZNY via botjunkie
