After the mini soccer World Cup,
Robocup 2010 in Germany, the
Kondo Cup takes place in Asia.
Created in 2006, the Kondo Cup takes place regularly throughout the year.
This
robot soccer tournament is held in the electronics quarter of
Akihabara in Tokyo, Japan.
The robots that perform as soccer players are from the KHR-Series (KHR-1, 2-3) for the first class and other prototypes with less limitations regarding the servos in a second class called "open".
These are not small rolling robots but rather real
humanoid robots which run, push and hit the ball.
