An ultra-fast laboratory robot mouse

Posted on 05/02/2010 by vabry in Competitions
The 30th competition of robotic laboratory rats took place in Japan at Micromouse 2009. A rat or mouse capable of finding their way in a maze is impressive, but what you are about to see in this video has - kind of - nothing to do with speed. Incredible! Initially, the mouse assesses and scans the terrain and the obstacles and then it takes off. At full speed, it starts from point A to reach point B in record time and without ever touching the edges of the maze. A 4.7 second time record: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu2vX886Oj8 Course cueing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDD0KiXfDLc
